Are there still a few questions you might have?

Do you just like to know how things work before you get in touch?

Here are a few of your questions answered.

Yes there is. Due to the style of portraits, I only photograph children aged 6 years old and above.

The maximum number of children in the one session is 2. They do not have to be siblings, they can be best friends, cousins etc.

You don’t need to bring a lot to your child’s portrait session. The main things are up to three neutral outfits and a hairbrush. I will send you guidelines on what type of clothes to bring with you once you’ve booked your session. These clothes do not need to be expensive at all, a simple plain cream or white long sleeve top can look just as beautiful as a dress. I provide all the headdresses so you don’t need to worry about those.

Absolutely! These sessions can have a maximum of 2 children, aged 6 years or above, and one dog.

All you need is you and your dog. If treats are needed I have some for you to use so no need to bring them (unless your dog has special dietary needs of course). Feel free to bring any doggy outfits or props that you’d like to use just let me know beforehand so I can allow for more time

This is a question I get asked a lot and I hear so many people say that their dog just wouldn’t sit still for long enough. This simply isn’t the case! I have had so many dogs come into the studio and at first they’re so hyper or nervous to be somewhere new but after a short ‘settling in’ time they soon relax. There is no strict time for your session so if your dog very hyper and likes to keep having a mooch about then please don’t be worried at all. All that walking around and sniffing will soon wear them out enough to pose perfectly. Likewise, if your dog needs some quiet time to get used to their surroundings, and to me, then there is more than enough time for this too.

It is true that dark coloured dogs, especially black, are more difficult to photograph. Luckily, I have the right knowledge and equipment that this has never been a problem. Why not book your pooch in and see how amazing they look?

This isn’t a problem at all! We will start all location experiences by taking a short ‘on lead’ calm walk so your dog can sniff around and get to know their surroundings. The session will then begin and will include ‘on lead’ poses (you can be edited out if you wish) with different natural backgrounds such as trees, flowers etc. We can then use the long line lead I have to get those action shots if you like.

If you prefer I do have access to an enclosed doggy friendly field so we can include some fun filled ‘off lead’ action shots too! Please mention this when getting in touch so I can see which dates the field is available. All experiences are super relaxed and I will explain everything to you so you can relax and enjoy the fun.

Yes you do. All sessions with KathyB Photography require the full session fee up front in order to secure your session date and time. You will also be required to fill out a quick information form, read over and sign a contract before paying your session fee. Don’t worry this is all done online in one simple email that I will send you. It shouldn’t take you more than 5 minutes.

Booking a session is so easy! You can purchase a session by sending me a message via the contact page with your email address and a few details about the session you would like. I will be in touch as soon as I can to find out more and get you booked in. It’s that simple!

Viewing your images and placing an order is simple! After your session we will book a date and time that is convenient for you to come back to the studio and view all your images as well as place any order you wish. There are lots of samples of products in the studio and I can help with anything a little more bespoke if required. This appointment can take anywhere from 30 minutes to an hour.

If you choose to order after your ordering appointment there will be a £100 fee applied to cover the time it takes to access your images, set up your gallery and organise another ordering appointment.

I offer several different products to suit different styles. From a beautiful classic frame to modern acrylic art panels and print packages there is something for everyone. Packages start from £139 for a beautiful Premium Matted Print and payment plans are available over a maximum of 3 months (at least 50% must be paid at the time of ordering). Clients tend to spend £200 – £600 at their viewing and ordering appointment, some spending more and some spending less. You can see a full product guide here or get in touch for more information on payment plans.
